Afterlives

You play as undead creatures, doomed to roam the shadows of the world. Redeem yourself by showing a downhearted human how to explore all the joys now out of your reach. Your human is in bad shape - they will need care to get them ready to explore all the wonders of life. 

Play as a vampire, ghost, skeleton, mummy, banshee or zombie. Your unique undead form may make you hide, but you can use that speciality to help your human.

 Encourage your human to complete day to day tasks to increase their levels of Joy and Energy. As a group, pick what table option you’d like to encourage your human to do. Individually, say how your character would use their undead abilities to help. It’s important the human feels like they’ve achieved it themselves - so stay hidden.

Explore daily human existence until you have successfully taught a human the joys of life by reaching 15 on the Joy scale. If your human reaches 0 energy or 10 stress at any point, you have failed to care for your human, and they must be taken into the care of the living. You are left to continue walking the shadows.
